I can't say enough good things about this practice. My dog had been having problems before the holiday weekend and had gone to my regular vet last Monday. Over the long weekend we continued to nurse her along. By Sunday she was getting worse. Wake Vet. was recommended to me by a trusted friend who is also a veterinarian. The practice was very responsive, efficient and caring. They took the time to get a thorough history of her problems and explained each and every thing they recommended. They gave me an estimate of the cost before getting my approval and performing the procedure. Dr. Watkins was compassionate and patient. While she acted quickly to help my dog, she also gave me a complete rationale behind everything she did. The medications were explained completely and dosing instructions were given both in oral and written forms. I'm so happy I've found a practice that is close-by and now trusted. Thank you all for caring so much and for being there when we needed you !
The staff that works here are absolutely amazing . You can tell these people really care about the animals . They also are very reasonably priced, especially going into the emergency hours like I had to . We were extremely scared for our dog and they made sure to make us feel comfortable. Dr. Watkins reassured me in everything she was doing. She treated my dog with such care . From here on out we will be driving from Cary to use this vet! Thank you so much Dr. Watkins & Dr. Lanza!!
Recently, he made the shift out to Wake Veterinary Hospital and it is an absolute no-brainer that we are following him over there. He was the one to treat T as a puppy, and he'll be the one to help us with her end of life plans when that time comes. I will be a customer and loyal fan for as long as we have dogs in our home. I recommend him to all our clients and loved ones. Having pets isn't always a cake walk, and having this man on our team has made all the difference in making this journey as smooth as possible.
I just had adopted a kitten who was having a bad reaction to the anesthesia from getting spayed. I took her during emergency hours and felt so comfortable with her in their care. Dr. Lanza was so helpful and very nice. Overall, great service and a great Veterinary Hospital. I will definitely come back again and bring my two other dogs next time they need to see a vet.
Dr. G has been our vet for 9 years now. Our dog, Tandi, is the love of my life and he's the only vet we've ever been comfortable taking her to. He docked her tail for us when she cut it badly, he has come into the hospital in the middle of the night when she had an upset tummy, and he's talked me through some really hard decisions while he's been at very important events. He's only a text message away from us at any given time and he's treated us like family. He's even seen Tandi walking around downtown with her dog walker and ran across the street to say hello.
I lost my precious baby about 3 weeks ago.... This post is a bit late but I have to acknowledge something good when I see it. Since I drove in with my baby in the backseat, they focused entirely on him. They brought him in and helped me with one of the toughest decisions a fur mama has to make. Their prices were reasonable and gave me my space. I thank them all for trying to save my baby and I will always remember those here who helped me.
