Last week I tried to take my dog in to get his nails done. The groomer was open until 6pm, and I got there at 4:30pm. No one was there. I assumed the groomer was on break. Nope. There was no groomer. I asked the manager what was going on. For starters, she had no idea that there was no one working in grooming. Then, she said I should come back in the morning, despite the fact she had no idea if there was going to be a groomer working in the morning. I asked what they're doing for the customers who'd come in and cannot be served. She said, "I suggest you come back in the morning." I left and I have no intention of returning.
This place is nice, there's a friendly staff and a good store to have all that you need for your pet.
Now that I know how little Petco - and all its levels of management - respects their customers, I will not be going back. Im just as happy spending my money at other stores and with other groomers.
Always clean and with help close by, this is a very nice petco.
i cant express how rudely i was treated on the phone. i am looking for a winter white hamster. i asked "do yall have any winter white hamsters?" she replied "what?" i said "do yall have any winter white hamsters" she said "winter what?" (i was speaking clearly) i said "the color white" she said "we have white hamsters" Winter White hamsters are a real thing and these people need to be trained on that. she got what i said when i asked winter white but didnt put it all together im guessing????
To compound my frustrations... I called Petco Customer Service to tell them they'd just lost me as a customer. Despite having told them twice what location I was referring to, they filed the report with a Petco 3 hours away. Not helpful.
I enjoy Petco because the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Their brand of crystal cat litter is the best I have ever used!
