I go to this home depot regularly and the employees are always very helpful. I always find exactly what I need in a timely manner. My only complaint would be that the only checkout lanes open are usually at one far end of the store.
Was not impressed today. We were greeted by a really nice man when we arrived but it went down from there. We were completely ignored by employees in the appliance department. There were 2 employees helping another couple when we arrived, we waited for them to finished but they never acknowledged us. Another couple came up after we had been waiting about 15 minutes and they immediately asked if that couple needed help. Fed up, we left. I guess the home depot did not want the money we were about to spend on a new oven.
Bought $600 worth of flooring underlayment. Was checked out by nice young lady named Kiara. After loading the truck I realized a $15 saw blade was under the other material. It was rainy and late after a long day. I was tempted to get in the truck and drive home but decided the right thing was to take it back in and pay for it. Kiara was very nice and thanked me for bringing it back in and proceeded to give me 50% off the blade. Very appropriate and nice response resulting in a win win. Good job Kiara!
Literally, for a few cents more than the competition I got friendly, helpful service and better quality. The next time I’ll be sure to get the names of those who assisted so I can recognize them individually.
