Dr. Benton is so wonderful! I'm very happy with the new doctors and staff here! All 3 providers are amazing--Dr. Benton, Dr. Younkin and the Nurse Practitioner, Angela Byrd. Also, I see reviews about Dr. Oettinger, but he is not at this office anymore.
Calling in for the second time this morning gave up after waiting 3 minutes on hold at9am.....
if I could rate zero,,,, incomplete diagnostics , They Put My life in danger, Good thing I went to another medical place a week later , I knew they didnt do enough to help
Still on hold trying to schedule an appointment. Wow what should I expect when I go rather let's try another provider who actually staffs the office..
I saw Dr. Oettinger for the first time last week. I found him to be pompous and insulting. He indicated that he didn't think I could follow the protocol necessary for weight loss surgery since I've been treated for depression. He has NO files on my depression issue which I have successfully overcome with medication and therapy. He even called my bariatric surgeon saying he wouldn't sign a permission for surgery letter indicating that I am able to have the REVISION surgery!! I met with him for 10 minutes and he almost ruined my chances for a lifesaving surgery, I left his office crying. Depression is not incapacitating and as a doctor, he should know this. He even said to me, "you aren't bipolar or anything, are you". How humiliating. I reported him to HUMANA and formally required that he NOT have any access, per HIPPA law, to my medical information. If I could have given him less than one star, I would have.
Extremely unhappy with this doctor's office. They are one of the only offices I can find in the area who will take TriCare so I am stuck with them. Waited on hold 45+ minutes 2 different times this morning to try and make an appointment. Then was told that because I haven't been seen as a new patient yet (when I called 2 weeks ago the earliest they had was Nov 2) that I can't be seen as a sick patient AND they couldn't do a referral for me to see an urgent care doctor. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.
