Very nice place and nice monk, visit every few weeks to get some blessings.

Beautiful Thai Temple and I had been there many times and met many friendly Thai people over there!

It's Thai temple which seems to have no monk there. I've been there twice in last week but never seen any people. I only saw cars parked. The door to the hall was locked. However, there is a Buddha statue to pray and prayer in Thai outside the building.

Called ahead today to learn when an English session could be heard. Was told 3 pm. Got there 10 min early. No one welcomed or greeted me. I sat down in an empty chair, watching Thai people go about their routines. A group of 5 to 7 women busied themselves counting, sorting & bundling US cash in the middle of the main temple on the floor at the feet of a robed monk. I felt like a witness to a Buddhist casino wrap up after closing. It was surreal. I continued sitting trying to meditate through all the Thai chit-chat, small children running around in horseplay, & still no one spoke to me. Everyone carried on as if I weren't even visible. After 30 minutes, I rose, bowed & made for the exit to find my shoes outside. One of 2 women who was seated 4 feet away suddenly asked if I was leaving. Shocked to learn I wasn't invisible afterall, I said, "You speak to me now that I'm leaving instead of offering a welcome? That's great!" I turned & walked out for my shoes. Couldn't wait to get away from there. No, I didn't leave an offering; they had so much money to count they could've opened their own bank. They may have a lot of Buddha statues in there, but not an inkling of loving kindness or manners. One star I give out for the beauty of the architecture & decor. Two stars i give for respect for the Buddha. Otherwise I was VERY DISAPPOINTED.
