An overly administrative entity where no one is responsible and no one has any answers. The only thing that's consistent about this place is that prescriptions are never filled on time, and when this happens, no one there is able to help. Granted, the people who work there are kind and attentive, but their ability to help patients in a timely, efficient manner is blunted by a labyrinth of administrative hassles. Even the smallest medical need will often take you all day, if not days, to work out. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if he or she is using it to meet his or her primary health needs.
I am just returning to Duke Knightdale after a couple of years. My first thoughts as I was addressed by the sign-in staff was oh how pleasant and friendly everyone was. My second thought after the nurses came out to get me, was that this must be the new protocol for this office. Everyone was warm and friendly. I chose Dr. Wannika Williams for my primary care doctor. I was highly impressed with her decorum and knowledge. She is pleasant but firm. She took the time to address each of my three concerns and set out immediately to get me set-up with referrals. The next day all four referral doctors office's called. On my visit I never felt rushed or that I was just a number. I am glad to be back at Duke Knightdale and would highly recommend Dr. Williams and the Duke Primary Care Staff.
This is the worst place for care. I was seen at there urgent care and now they are telling me to make a appointment something that they dont have cause they are all booked up. I have the flu and the urgent care already sent in medication for me why do I need to pay again to be seen for something that was told to me last night. the urgent care doctor told me to call about getting a work note since they could only give me one for today. I will be changing primary care offices and will not return. This place is a scam.
The office building and facilities are very nice, new, and clean. The staff is courteous and helpful. There is no sign-in sheet when you get there, like some doctors' offices have to sign in, note your appt time, and then have a seat. You have to stand in line to check in, which can take quite a while and be very tiring if you're older or don't feel well, plus it makes you late for the appointment if the line for all 8 doctors takes a long time -- and then you lose you place and have to wait a couple hours until everyone else is seen. Dr. Ng has been abrupt with me and disinterested in my care from my first visit a couple months ago or so after I was seen in emergency next door. I think she is too busy with too many patients to add a new one. She does not make the effort to understand my concerns, and doesn't seem very well informed in the areas where I need care. I do not recommend her for older patients.
We visited duke on knightdale urgent care for a pain in the troat and ears ! told the doctor about it and she didn't even took a proof of test of any kind !!! sore troat, and ear pain! she just said she can't look anything in the ear because the wax!!!!! She Only looking with her eyes!! she never performed any test!!! she just recomended a nasal spray and ibuprofen for pain! the pain is getting worst every day ! Feeling swollen and stayed for 3 long days waking up at night with pain and discomfort ! We went to another doctor more professional and he performed a test from troat and send it to lab, and he found out an infection and send antibiotics! If you go to urgent care is because you are really having a pain and they should have done a test no just looking with their eyes!!! When you do any questions to urgent doctor by the web page they always answer if you have any more questions just tell your primary doctor! So why you pay to go a urgent care if they can't answer anything from your visit that you just paid! This is the worst place to go! What kind of doctor is that! Her name is Elizabeth she is Very useless! and disappointed!
